Billed as the “Flounder Capital of the World,” Wachapreague VA provides anglers with scenic views, warm hospitality and the opportunity for the first cooler full of fillets of the year! Beginning in early April and continuing through May, the vast marshes and coastal bays around Wachapreague host a seasonal influx of hungry flounders, and since he was a kid, Capt. Brian has been there to meet them. From time-honored tried and true tactics like drifting minnows over oyster bottom or channel ledges, to slow trolling across huge sand and mudflats, Capt. Brian is prepared with the know-how and experience to put you on some flounder!
